Q. Upon registration, do I have to pay a deposit?
A. No, your credit card will be charged 100% of the total Trip cost including upgrades and any extensions of stay.
Q. Can I cancel my registration?
A. Trip cancellation must be confirmed in writing 90 days prior to the first day of the trip and a $100 per person processing fee will be retained by Vacation Classes and the remaining deposit refunded. After that date charges are nonrefundable.
Q. Does Vacation Classes make my airline reservations, or do I need to make the appropriate travel arrangements?
A. Each person is responsible for setting up their own travel arrangements except that a shuttle to and from the Resort is included in the fee. Vacation Classes provides competitive pricing for air travel through www.livlife.rovia.com and you are always welcome to visit expedia or travelocity.
Q. Does Vacation Classes offer discounts for airfare?
A. Discounts for airfares are listed on the www.livlife.rovia.com as competitive pricing.
Q. Can I arrive earlier or leave later than the conference dates, and still get the hotel’s group rate?
A. Most trips allow 3 days group pricing extension or early arrival. If you desire to extend your stay, you will have to sign up where noted on the Book Trip page or you will have to contact the Hotel directly to book extensions and our rate is not then guaranteed.
Q. Can I receive a tax deduction for attending this meeting?
A. We believe that these courses meet the requirements for CE deductibility provided that your tax advisor has you set up to take advantage of the deductibility. Please consult your own accountant to verify this information.
Q. Will I receive an incentive for registering early?
A. Early registration discounts are available and posted on the website for each Trip as each Trip is different.
Q. Can I bring along my family or other friends?
A. Yes. We encourage families to attend. Most locations are very family-friendly, with activities for children. In addition, we have many people bring their friends to take advantage of our group rates and the group activities that we have planned.
Q. How can I receive information on the location’s activities?
A. Activity information will be available via the Vacation Classes website on that particular Resort’s destination page or by visiting the Resort’s website directly.
Q. Will I receive CE credits and/or credits toward the CRS designation for these classes?
A. Yes – check with the Vacation Classes website for a list of States that have approved each course.
Q. Should I register now or wait until closer to the deadline?
A. We strongly urge attendees to register early, so that you may take advantage of our discounts and also to guarantee a spot as they are limited.
Q. What is included in my registration?
A. Tuition includes continuing education course and certification, program syllabus, VIP reception and refreshments, accommodations, meals during certain Trips (refer to website for Trip specifics) airport Shuttle (on most Trips – see website for Trip specifics), membership in Dream Trips.
Q. Are Vacation Classes events sponsored, such that they meet requirements by different states (i.e. Kentucky and South Carolina)?
A. Yes. Please call us for more details if you have questions about your individual state requirements.
Q. How do I receive my certification?
A. A certificate will be sent to you by mail and/or email after the meeting.
Q. How large are the meetings?
A. We try to keep meetings to 50-100 attendees, so that we can maintain that personal touch.
Q. Do you have any other discounts available? A. We have a great “Earn Your Way” Referral program which is described in detail on the Vacation Classes website!
Q. Is it possible that a meeting would sell out before I can register?
A. Yes. Even though a deadline for early registration is given, it is possible that a meeting will sell out.
Q. Will I have classes taught by qualified instructors?
A. Yes. Nationally recognized instructors with cutting edge topics teach our classes – many are certified by CRS.
